In recognition of her distinguished contribution to the advancement of science, research, and training on agricultural development in the Southeast Asian region, specifically in plant pathology.

As an original member of ISSAAS, Professor Emeritus Dr. Natsuaki contributed to the establishment of ISSAAS in 1994, together with other original members until this year (20240) when ISSAAS celebrates its 30th year founding anniversary to be held in Tokyo University of Agriculture (Tokyo NODAI). She strengthened the network of agricultural scientists in Southeast Asian countries and the ISSAAS community. She also served as the ISSAAS Japan Chapter Director until 2017. She has eagerly steered the active organization of the Annual ISSAAS International Congress.
